bullet Studio in a School honored Dorothy Lichtenstein at its 30th Anniversary Gala on March 3, 2008. Studio celebrates with a benefit gala only once every five years, honoring an individual who has made important contributions to the arts in New York City and Studio. The gala benefits Studio's general operating fund, helping to make possible all of its visual arts programming, which has provided hundreds of thousands of New York City children with arts education throughout all five boroughs. The Gala started with cocktails at the Paula Cooper Gallery before guests headed next door to the Gagosian Gallery for dinner. View images from the event here.
