Studio was awarded this highly competitive $4.4 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education as the lead partner of a group of New York City organizations at the forefront of arts education services for the city’s youth.
This large-scale arts assessment research project, undertaken in 2010-2015 by Studio and the New York City Department of Education’s Office of Arts and Special Projects (OASP), and conducted in close to 80 schools, touched thousands of students and provided intensive supports to 45 arts teachers.
