Paul Beard Memorial Fund

The Paul Beard Memorial Fund was started by the family of Paul Beard (1978-2005), a young artist who used his extraordinary talents to help enrich the lives of children through his work at Nickelodeon and Little Airplane, among many others. After Paul’s tragic accident in 2005, his family connected Paul’s love of children and art to Studio’s mission in the New York City schools. We are very grateful for the generous support of Paul’s family and friends who have reached out in the past two years to support Studio, and thank them for sharing his story with us, and for sharing our goal in brining art to the lives of as many children as possible.

On June 28, 2008, the Paul Beard Classic will be held in Central Park for the third year. Rain or shine, this year’s softball game will begin at noon at the north end of the Great Lawn, near 84th St.
